Frankie is just what I needed to manage my money easily

The Client

Liam is 30 and lives with his partner in London. He works in the city and was introduced to Frankie by a friend two years ago. 

“My friend also works in finance, so given our similar backgrounds I wanted to meet Frankie,” explains Liam.   

“Frankie is so easy to get on with, but very switched on. She has an excellent understanding of the market, great contacts and a good understanding of my situation and goals.

Liam’s goals and dreams

Despite being in the industry, Liam wanted a fresh pair of eyes to help him get the balance right on his personal savings and pension contributions. He wanted to get a plan in place to reach his goals of buying a property in the next few years and to ensure a secure financial future. 

Liam says: “I’m super busy and despite being in the industry I just don’t have the time to  dedicate to managing my own money. I wanted someone to help me sort out my pension, actively manage my savings, help with general financial planning and thinking ahead to getting a foot on the property ladder.

What Liam has achieved so far

Liam says Frankie is a very concise communicator. Simple and straight forward but ensuring all the facts are covered. And he feels confident his finances are on the right track. 

“She takes time to explain everything but is efficient and doesn’t waste time either. She has helped me to maximise my pension savings, get on track to saving for a deposit, diversify my investments and be more tax efficient. 

“Frankie has introduced me to some alternative investments such as a VCT (Venture Capital Trust), which I like. These are not bog standard so you need someone educated, like Frankie, to help with them.” 

How Liam feels

Liam is really enjoying the journey with Frankie and has recommended her to friends and will continue to do so.  

“My expectations were someone would give me the time of day, help me with planning and getting everything on track to reach my goals and she has ticked all of those boxes – and much more.  

“She is friendly and makes a complex industry more approachable in a less stuffy but still very professional way. She explains the options and lets you choose what you feel happy with – and encourages you to have a life while chipping away at reaching your goals. 

“I like that she is always willing to help. We have a couple of formal reviews each year but also regular check-ins and we can chat or meet in between, so I feel I get the attention I deserve.
