Frankie made me believe I could achieve my dream… and I have!
The Client
Vicky, 40, lives in London and works in the financial industry. She met Frankie during lockdown via her job. Despite being an investment manager, and pretty confident around her finances, she wanted another professional eye to question her and help her consider different options.
Vicky says: “We got on really well via zoom and met as soon as we were allowed out. We just clicked straight away. I like the way Frankie approaches things. Vicky’s goals and dreams
Vicky had a dream to buy a second property in the sun. She also wanted some extra help with her pension and annual tax planning. Vicky says: “It’s good to have someone else look at your situation, take you outside your box, to nudge you to question yourself and move out of your lane. Even though I know finances quite well and I know a lot about pensions, it is good to have another professional eye on things, keeping me on the right track.”
What Vicky has achieved so far
Vicky is delighted. With Frankie’s help she bought a flat in Spain in 2022 and loves it. She’s really enjoying spending her free time in the sunshine. She feels she is getting really good advice around her pension which has been moved to a more flexible provider which has helped her tax liability by enabling her to receive the maximum benefit from her contributions.
Vicky is excited about investing in an EIS which she says offers her good long-term planning with good short term tax gains. She says: “I can’t believe I managed to buy a property abroad so quickly. I thought it would be years and years before I got there if I ever did.
“Frankie helped me plan how I could achieve this, gave me the little push I needed to do it. She made me believe I could do it. Said this is how we can make it work – and it did. My pension now gives me the ability to invest into an ESG focused investment strategy which aligns to my objectives and it’s on track to give me a much better outcome. I like that someone is keeping an eye on how it is performing for me.”
How Vicky feels
“When you are already in the financial business you do wonder what someone else can do for you. But Frankie makes me think differently and has come up with some very interesting ideas, more than just the run-of-the-mill financial planning. I’m aware of things I’d never considered.
“I love what she is doing now with FSWM, setting up such a dynamic firm offering membership to full client model.
